Shady Beach is a lakeside community with a focus on recreation. A central park, private beach park, pavilion and marina.
Shady Beach – Private Beach Park
Available to our members and their accompanied guests only, the beach is the perfect place to relax and feel the breeze, read a book, sunbath or go for a swim. Our beach has a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a playground for the kids and plenty of grass and sand area for everyone to enjoy.
Shady Beach Pavilion
Our beach pavilion is available to all members to use and can be rented by members for events such as birthday parties, family reunions, and wedding showers.
Shady Beach Marina
From day 1 of your membership you can gain access to use our ramp to launch a boat registered in your name and enjoy Upper Straits lake for the day. You may also desire one of our 54 docks, which are available via a wait list.

The Center Park
Shady Beach’s Park can be enjoyed by all residents and has a half court basketball area and is used a lot in the winter by the kids for the sledding hill.
